📁Representation theory of algebras. Homological algebra.
Bricks
Supervisor: Lidia Angeleri Hügel
Description
Bricks are modules for which every non-zero endomorphism is invertible. They play a crucial role in the representation theory of finite dimensional algebras due to their relevance in the study of torsion pairs and stabilty theory. Measuring the complexity of bricks inside the variety of modules of a fixed dimension promises a new perspective on representation type and leads to interesting classes of algebras which are transversal to the classical tame-wild dichotomy.
